Pygmalion

Maria invites everyone to the State Film Actor Theatre to see Pygmalion by Bernard Shaw directed by Pavel Safonov. Maria plays the role of Mrs. Eynsford Hill. The tickets are available at the theatre’s booking office.

Pygmalion is a world known story of a poor flower-girl Eliza Doolittle who gives herself to the tutelage of Professor Higgins to learn proper grammar and phonetics. As a result the girl managed to pass the test and prove her affiliation with the upper class at a royal reception at the Buckingham Palace as well as to win the heart of convinced bachelor Professor Higgins.
