The film is going to be shown on main (federal) TV channels of Russia. In opinion of Moscow city administration this picture dedicated to life and works of a great Russian writer Anton Chekhov deals with questions still important for everyone. Maria played Lidia Yavorskaya the most passionate love of Anton Chekhov. Yavorskaya was an actress in Moscow theatre of Fedor Korsh. She was a self-confident, temperamental and energetic woman. In the name of her love she made frantic gestures. She herself asked him to marry her, send him flowers and bombarded him with love letters.
